Kingsbury Episcopi Band

Notices from Thursday 11 July 2019

This coming Sunday, 14th July we are playing at the Blake Gardens in Bridgwater, TA6 3NZ. We start at 2pm (please arrive at the band stand for 1.30 pm) and will be playing two sessions: from 2-2.45pm, then from 3.15-4pm. Refreshments will be available in the Blake Museum during the interval. Brian has also asked that members bring “Sway” to replace “Where or When” in the original programme.

Fortunately, we’ve been informed that 7 cars will be able to park near the band stand.

Please also take your banners home and bring them again to Lyme Regis on Sunday 21st July, returning them to rehearsal on Thursday 25th July.

“The band playing was exceptional this year, and many have commented on the really good mix of carols and popular music.

Once again, huge thanks for playing for us again.”

“Just a note to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all of you in the Band for the great event on Sunday. We thought that the Band was on absolutely ‘top form’ and excelled in all aspects of the music.”

“I just wanted to officially thank you all for the wonderful performance you put on for our Street Fair. It isn’t official yet but I believe this was our best year ever for fund raising. Thank you for being a part of that. I say it every year and every year I mean it, when I say Drayton Street Fair wouldn’t be the same without you. It’s the music that lends the day its particular vibrance, I believe.I hope you all enjoyed yourself and that we’ll see you again next year.”

Email from organiser, Louise Lee, following our performance on Saturday 1st Sep 2018
