Kingsbury Episcopi Band

Notices from Thursday 18 April 2019

New Music

Brian has introduced several new pieces of music to keep us all interested and to extend our musical capabilities – we had a really good rehearsal learning the new music.

Band Membership Register

David reminded any members who were not at last week’s AGM to sign the membership register. Please do so as soon as you’re next at rehearsal.

CD Production

Please let David know asap how many copies of the KEB CD you think you will want to purchase – this is needed in order for the committee to calculate how many to produce. The price of the CD is unknown at this stage but, hopefully, will be around the £5 mark.

Additionally, the committee would like members to suggest possible titles for the CD and any ideas for the design of the front cover. Again, please email David with your ideas asap.

Have a lovely Easter break everyone and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Feedback

“The band playing was exceptional this year, and many have commented on the really good mix of carols and popular music.

Once again, huge thanks for playing for us again.”

“Just a note to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all of you in the Band for the great event on Sunday. We thought that the Band was on absolutely ‘top form’ and excelled in all aspects of the music.”

“I just wanted to officially thank you all for the wonderful performance you put on for our Street Fair. It isn’t official yet but I believe this was our best year ever for fund raising. Thank you for being a part of that. I say it every year and every year I mean it, when I say Drayton Street Fair wouldn’t be the same without you. It’s the music that lends the day its particular vibrance, I believe.I hope you all enjoyed yourself and that we’ll see you again next year.”
